What did we do for them?
CSG Middlesbrough is the sole supplier for leachate collection for both of Highfield Environmental’s landfill sites in Billingham. The ability to adapt to demand and comprehensive permits and consents capacity for variable EWC (European Waste Catalogue) codes and compositions, enables CSG to manage a diverse specification of leachate safely and swiftly.
Highfield Environmental’s collections are seasonal and weather dependant. During periods of heavy rainfall, CSG’s tankers can remove, on average, four to seven loads a day.
The leachate storage capacity at Highfields is slightly larger than a full articulated vehicle load, therefore it is imperative that CSG’s service is flexible and timely to ensure landfills remain compliant.
