MRH and CSG Renew Their Waste Management Partnership

MRH Retail, the UK’s leading independent fuel forecourt operator, has renewed its waste management contract with Cleansing Service Group (CSG).

The new three year contract means total waste management specialist CSG will continue to provide a ‘one stop shop’ of drainage and mechanical maintenance services including interceptor emptying, cleaning of drainage channels and sewage system maintenance to all MRH service stations. MRH also has access to CSG’s 24/7 emergency call out service.

Epping-based MRH Retail was established in 1997 and is now the UK’s leading independent service station owner and operator with over 370 service stations.

John Lynn, MRH Retail’s managing director, said: “Over the past three years CSG has provided the high level of service we expect from all our suppliers and we are very pleased to be able to continue working with them for another three years”.

Award-winning CSG, which has its headquarters in Fareham, Hampshire, is the second largest privately-owned industrial and domestic environmental waste management group in Britain, operating from 24 sites stretching from Cornwall to Kent and up to Glasgow
in Scotland.

The company’s waste treatment facilities process hundreds of thousand of tonnes of oily waste a year, much of it collected from forecourt drainage systems. The oil and water is separated and the recovered oil used re-used as a low grade fuel.
