CSG awards Swindon pre-school furniture funding

Children at a Swindon pre-school will have a refurbished space to read and relax – thanks to leading waste management company CSG.
Thames Pre-School, on Bath Road in Cricklade, has received £500 through CSG’s new Community Chest initiative, which has been launched to support good causes across the country.
The pre-school plans to use the cash for two new child-sized sofas for the quiet time area, where children can relax and read books.
“We are absolutely thrilled to receive this generous donation from CSG,” said Sara Shoesmith, of Thames Pre-School. “Funding is particularly hard to come by at the moment so this is a massive boost.
“Our current sofas are old and falling apart. The children will love enjoying time in the new area with some good books.
“We are very aware of CSG as a significant local employer. It’s tremendous that they are actively getting involved with the local community.”
CSG is a major waste specialist, helping householders and organisations nationwide by offering a complete variety of services including septic tank emptying and treatment, as well as recovery and disposal of specialist waste such as chemicals and oil.
Its Swindon base, also on Bath Road, specialises in emptying septic tanks, cesspits and sewage treatment plants for householders and businesses across the region.
Thames Pre-School was nominated for Community Chest funding by CSG driver Nicholas Brown.
“I’m so pleased that Thames Pre-School was successful in obtaining this support from CSG,” said Nicholas. “It’s an excellent Pre-School which really goes above and beyond for the children in its care.
“I’m proud to work for a company which is committed to supporting groups and charities in the areas in which it operates.”
