Dealing With Waste Materials

12 April 2012 by Daryl Tunningley

In recent times environmental awareness has spread throughout many industries, but despite this cleaning and greening the creation of waste cannot be avoided.

Cleansing Service Group (CSG) is expert in the treatment and recovery of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes including chemicals, paints, adhesives, inks and contaminated liquids. The company’s expertise will be illustrated on Stand B12 at Surfex Plus (NEC 29-30 May 2012) where experts will be on hand to discuss the company’s Total Waste Management (TWM) service.

The introduction of a TWM programme ensures recycling is maximised and the volume of waste going to landfill is minimised. In many instances the programme can also save a company money.

An additional advantage of the TWM service operated by CSG is that its nationwide network of depots means much of the waste can be dealt with locally, thereby minimising the transport of materials over long distances. This is a much more environmentally sustainable way of handling the waste because, it reduces long distance haulage and therefore effectively reduces the company’s carbon footprint.

The display on the Stand will also illustrate the emphasis CSG places on ensuring it achieves full compliance with the very strict environmental and technical regulations governing the UK waste industry.

CSG is one of the UK waste industry’s fastest growing companies operating a nationwide network of depots and treatment facilities, including the UK’s largest specialist hazardous waste treatment and recovery facility at Cadishead, Manchester.

Visitors to Stand B12 will have the opportunity to talk through all aspects of Total Waste Management with CSG experts.
