North East football team nets new kit boost

A recently-formed girls football team in the North East has hit the back of the net with a new kit – thanks to a local business.
New Marske Under-12s Girls have scored a £817 donation from leading waste management specialist CSG to cover the cost of a new away kit and winter jackets.
The funding comes through CSG’s Community Chest initiative which aims to support good causes close to the business’ 32 regional bases across the UK.

Craig Dufferwiel, Regional Business Manager, said: “We’re delighted to support New Marske United Under-12s with this donation.
“It’s fantastic to see more girls getting involved in football. I hope they really enjoy their new kit and it inspires them to success for the rest of the season.”
New Marske Under-12s Girls play their games in the Teesside Junior Football Alliance League, the largest junior football league in the country.
Simon Whitwell, the club’s secretary, said: “The girls are absolutely thrilled to receive their new kit with CSG’s logo proudly displayed on the front.
“This is a new team formed from a bunch of keen girls from the East Cleveland area.
“Any sponsorship is very welcome indeed so a huge thank you to CSG for their support.”
